Data visualization, or data viz, as you may have noticed, many people like to call it, is how we communicate numerical or quantitative information in a visual manner. To do this, we use things like charts, graphs, maps, and sometimes even pictures and iconography.
A Dashboard is a way of displaying various types of visual data in one place. Usually, a dashboard is intended to convey different, but ralated information in an easy-to-digest form. And oftentimes, this includes things like key performance indicators (KPI)s or other important business metrics that stakeholders need to see and understand at a glance.

This projects uses R to web scrap thousands of Tweets from the End-Sars protest that happened in Nigeria
Web scraping is an automated method used to extract large amounts of data from websites. The data found on websites are often unstructured. Web scraping is a technique to collect that unstructured data and store it in structured form.

DATA CLEANING IN SQL
The project uses SQL to clean thousands of salary data scraped from Glassdoor.com
Data cleansing or data cleaning is the process of detecting and correcting (or removing) corrupt or inaccurate records from a record set, table, or database and refers to identifying incomplete, incorrect, inaccurate or irrelevant parts of the data and then replacing, modifying, or deleting the dirty or coarse data.

EXPLORATORY DATA ANALYSIS (EDA) USING R
This project uses R to perform some (EDA) on the salary data scraped from Glassdoor.com
Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) is the process of visualizing and analyzing data to extract insights from it. In other words, EDA is the process of summarizing important characteristics of data in order to gain better understanding of the dataset.

CORRELATION ANALYSIS IN SPSS
The project uses SPSS to perform a correlation Analyis on a Movie dataset scraped in R from Netflix.com
The word correlation is used in everyday life to denote some form of association. It is a statistical technique that can show whether and how strongly pairs of variables are related.

The project uses R to clean thousands of Tweets in the Nigeria Endsars Protest dataset scraped from twitter
As said before, Data cleaning is all about tidying messy datasets up. It also refers to identifying incomplete, incorrect, inaccurate or irrelevant parts of the data and then replacing, modifying, or deleting the dirty or coarse data.
SENTIMENT ANALYSIS IN R
The project uses R to perform a sentiment analysis on the Endsars protest dataset earlier cleaned in R
As the name suggests, it means to identify the view or emotion behind a situation. It basically means to analyze and find the emotion or intent behind a piece of text or speech or any mode of communication.
ABOUT ME
I am David Bassey, a Statistician and Data Analyst with a B. Sc. Degree in Statistics and my love for problem solving is my motivation to ventureing into the world of data. I've always enjoyed solving puzzles from childhood, which is how I look at big datasets. To me, it is one big puzzle I want to solve. I love finding trends and patterns that nobody else sees and I am completely commited to helping others to make the right decisions with the right data.

While Dashboard shows you the most recent result in an interactive way just by clicking and drilling, you can present your data in an inspiring way by using an infographic rather than a piece of text.
